Hi, I’m Catherine, an accredited independent Celebrant living in Harpenden, delivering ceremonies across Herts, Beds and Bucks. I create services that are beautiful, joyful and a true celebration of love.

You only get one chance to get an important ceremony right. I get to know you and create services that are unique to you, full of love, emotion and reflect your values. I work with you to ensure that every detail of the ceremony is designed with care, and all ceremonies honour the people at the centre while making every guest feel included and part of something special. Inclusivity and choice for all is important to me and therefore all my services reflect you, your beliefs and passions.

I am an empathetic, compassionate and warm-hearted person, who is natural, energised, sincere and caring. I am articulate and an experienced public speaker as before training as a celebrant, my career was in Human Resources which is also people centred. A period of ill health was my inspiration to change career, and I decided to work with people at the most important times in their lives – life, love and loss.

I love what I do, and it shines through in every ceremony. My ceremonies are filled with respect, humour and love. I enjoy writing ceremonies to honour life’s milestones, weaving stories, memories and meaning into words that feel deeply personal. I know when to bring lightness and humour, when to slow things down for reflection, and how to hold space for emotion. I’m passionate about creating moments that people will remember for the rest of their lives.

To relax you will find me at the theatre or a concert, embracing the event with sparkles and song. I also champion women’s health, raising awareness and trying to make sure it’s a priority in rooms where policies are shaped.
