Memorials

Memorials

With the increasing trend in direct cremations, where there is no service for family and friends, you can decide to have a memorial service later. Sometimes too, the tight timelines of funerals means that the ceremony could not be shared with every person who wanted to attend. A memorial service can be arranged on a day or at a venue that suits you, perhaps on a special anniversary or a location that holds fond memories.

It allows flexibility, time to plan, and the freedom to create something deeply personal, often a warm and uplifting gathering that focuses on stories, personality and cherished memories. I work directly with you to ensure that every detail of the ceremony is designed and delivered with care. I will ask about memories, milestones, values, quirks and the little details that made your loved one unique.

From those conversations, I will craft a personalised ceremony that can include photos, readings, music, poems, shared tributes, symbolic moments or quiet reflection and even laughter. I speak with warmth and clarity, guiding guests through each part, and on a day filled with emotion, I will be a steady presence who can lead the full ceremony, or support you to lead as much as you can.

A memorial can be perfect for families wanting a positive, story-led farewell that reflects cultural or family traditions. I will help you transform a farewell into a meaningful tribute, one that honours a life lived and brings comfort to those left behind.

A Personal Goodbye

Let’s honour life, share stories and create meaningful farewells.

Saying goodbye to someone we love is one of life’s most emotional moments. It can feel overwhelming to find the right words or know how to honour their life. I will guide you through that difficult time and create a personalised funeral or memorial ceremony that feels respectful, meaningful and offers comfort and connection, and a chance to truly honour the life that was lived.

I will work with you to create heartfelt, respectful, and meaningful services that reflect the unique personality, beliefs, and story of your loved one. Unlike a traditional religious service, I shape the ceremony entirely around the person who has died and the wishes of their family. The focus is on telling their story, celebrating their life, character and legacy.

Each service is thoughtfully crafted to reflect your wishes, culture or family traditions. The ceremony will feel authentic and personal, whether traditional, modern, spiritual, non-religious or somewhere in between.

During difficult times, you deserve someone who listens carefully and supports you with empathy. I create space for families to share memories, laugh, cry and reflect then I transform those stories into a ceremony that truly honours your loved one. No two lives are the same. No two ceremonies should be either.
